I had surgery on my knee as I had a tear. The operation (arthroscopy) was key hole but I was amazed that within a couple of days I was off any kind of pain killers and started to do some gentle exercises such as walking. Within a month I was back to the gym and after 6 weeks was doing some gentle runs and bike rides. All in all it was a great experience.

Second operation that Dr Shah undertook 2 operations for me in the space of 3 years (first one on left meniscus and second one on right meniscus) and on both occasions, Dr Shah was amazing for me, was great at listening and reassuring me throughout the process and showed great empathy. Couldn’t have asked for a better surgeon/consultant. Top marks Zameer and keep up the good work for other patients

I have been under Mr Shah’s care for almost 3 years now, I cannot rate him highly enough. Before my hip replacement operation I was extremely apprehensive due to only having been in hospital once in my 78 years. Mr Shah took the time to answer all my questions and concerns without rushing. It was very reassuring. This is continued through his after care appointments. Mr Shah genuinely cares about his patients and this comes across to anyone that meets him, a really lovely caring man.

I couldn't recommend Dr Shah more. He is charming, very clear in his advice and straight talking. My operation to repair my meniscal tear was a big success, with my symptoms very nearly gone within a couple of weeks. I felt i was very well looked after.
